In March 2014, the war in Syria placed Kessab under siege.
But rather than giving into the pattern of misfortune, 5 women came together and began the journey of knitting nodes of hope.
They knit through the siege linking up the local knitters with the diaspora of not only Kessab but also of Syria where together they create a community of knitters focused on making a difference
